The Coolest Children in the World
One only has to walk the sidewalks in Zalau, as I did every day, to see the future of Romania. It is in the faces of the children, a future as large and shining as their eyes, and the universe I see in those eyes has no boundaries. (paraphrased excerpt from my Exhibition speech)

Bridges Across Time
How do we rediscover what we have forgotten in the midst of this techno-whirl of computers and Hummers?
Where do we go to touch the earth instead of concrete and asphalt?
We are so worried about tomorrow, we have lost all touch with the important yesterdays that helped to shape us.
But where do we find this tomorrow we wish to protect and enhance... it resides in our children, everywhere: across the street, across town, across the country, across the world. Every child belongs to each of us, and we belong to them. We are their present, they are our future.

Be A Clearing Breeze
As artists, we have another duty to the children we encounter, and that is to share our art with them in order to help clear away the clouds of fear and pain that gather--from any childhood. Remember your own fears growing up? How did they eventually dissipate? Usually, you encountered a great work of art that stunned you into silence, and from within that silence came the whisper of a new truth that sent you in a new direction of thought and ambition. When you share your art with a child, you are saying, "You can do this too." Then, you have to find a way to help them try. Art is usually the last thing taught and the first thing taken away when financial or other considerations crowd a family (or institution devoted to raising children). Share your art, in many respects, like knowledge it is the only thing you can give away and still keep. And here's another promise: Share you art with every child you can, and your art will increase beyond your wildest imagination.
